Clay Kadai  — 1.5 L + Clay tawa + Clay sauce pan

Bring the warmth of traditional clay cooking into the modern kitchen with Bhoo — The Clay Collection. A thoughtfully curated trio for everyday cooking, this set brings together the gentle cooking character of clay with forms designed for contemporary kitchens.

From slow-cooked curries in the 1.5 L Clay Kadai, to rotis, dosas and shallow cooking on the Clay Tawa, and everyday gravies, sauces and smaller portions in the Clay Sauce Pan — each piece invites you to cook a little slower, a little more consciously.

Made from natural clay and finished without glazing, the collection celebrates the beauty of the material itself — its earthy character, warmth and individuality.

Three vessels. One timeless material. A return to cooking with the earth.

The Collection

  • Clay Kadai — 1.5 L: Ideal for curries, vegetables and slow cooking.
  • Clay Tawa: For rotis, dosas, pancakes and shallow cooking.
  • Clay Sauce Pan: Perfect for gravies, sauces, tempering and smaller preparations.

Care Instructions

  • Season before first use to prepare the clay for cooking.

  • Begin cooking on low heat and gradually increase to low–medium heat.

  • Avoid sudden temperature changes while the kadai is hot.

  • Allow the kadai to cool naturally before washing.

  • Hand wash gently with water and mild soap when required.

  • Avoid metal scrubbers and harsh cleaning agents.

  • Dry completely before storing.

  • Do not soak the clay body in water for prolonged periods.

  • Care for the wooden handle with occasional natural oiling when needed.

  • Avoid using cooking oils such as coconut oil for re-oiling the wood, as they can turn rancid over time.
